dishwasher was not filling properly, left dishes dirty. found bad inlet valve. replaced valve, leaked at nipple into valve. bought new elbow used Teflon tape still leaks any ideas? thanks. scott.

You can get pink colored Teflon which should seal well. It's meant to gas valves but the deal will be better. The Teflon allows you to apply more torque but the white one sometimes compresses too much.

So the leak is fixed, dishwasher cleans very well during the wash cycle,I checked it after the wash and the dishes were clean. After the rinse cycle, dishes had trash on them. Any ideas? Btw thanks for the replies.
