I have a Kenmore Elite washer. At first it stopped letting cold water in, so I researched and found out that it could be the water valve. I replaced the valve, now it will fill with cold water go through the complete wash cycle then jumps to drain and spin out. It completely bypasses the rinse cycle. Anyone know what causes this? Maybe a sensor? Thanks

Hard to tell with these very troubled Whirlpool made machines, but sounds like the control unit is the most likely culprit. But it is an expensive part. If you decide to replace it and buy from this site you can return it if it does not solve the problem.
