Had repairman come out, said the control board and condenser fan were bad, but couldn't locate a board, told me to buy a new 2000 fridge. Did some checking on the internet and board and relay seem to be a common theme. I sent board to Core Centric and they repaired the board, looks like they replaced a relay for the condenser fan. Reinstalled and put in a new condenser fan as well.
Fired it up and the condenser and fan start running, but after a few minutes the fan clicks on and off and then just stops. condenser keeps running for a few minutes, then eventually powers down and turns off. Tried it again the next day and it does the same thing. Not sure if more relays on the board are bad, or if I should have put in the new fan before trying the new board and I fried the relay with the old fan. The first time I started it up, i had the old fan in, as it seems to work. Coils are spotless, no dust or dirt.

Hi.

Most likely the old condenser fan motor damaged the rebuild control board. You can try again to fix it but the success rate is very low.

Good luck.

Thank you,

Simon.
