What is the purpose of this and is it necessary? http://www.********************...her-heating-element.html Lubricate the seals on the leads of the new heating element with a small amount of rinse aid. Push the leads of the new heating element through the holes in the back of the tub. Attach the mounting clips inside the tub to the new heating element.
