Hello, My dryer heats for about two minute then the burner shut off stays off for about two minute the back on taking long time to dry.The dryer is free of lent ,filter clean, good air flow. The gas valve coil test good. I order a cycling thermostat i go a five terminal t-stat part#37001136 the stat that is on my old dryer is a four terminal. Where can i get a four terminal thermostat for this model? I am told the cycling stat for this model is obsolete How do i wire the five terminal to the dryer?
Thanks, Cleveland

Terminal 2 of the 5 terminal thermostat is not used on your dryer. Provide a photo of your existing thermostat. You may have faulty gas valve coils even though they test ok.

Thanks for the information on the cycling thermostat. As for the gas valve coil i replaced the coil. Will the moisture sensor cause the burner to short cycle also?

No, the only thing the moisture control does is control the timer motor during auto dry cycle. You replaced both gas valve coils? Did you use genuine factory service replacement coils? These coils are a very common failure item and there are lots of junk coils on the market.

Im having the same issue with a Samsung gas dryer. Any suggestions. All safeties test ok. The only odd test was the flame sensor gives fluctuating readings. It goes up and down while I’m testing. Is this normal. Thanks for the help
