My Kenmore icemaker stopped working then the fridge started to get warm however my freezer is working OK not great. Any ideas of what it could be? We have cleaned out the filters and checked all the coils in the freezer and removed the icemaker to check everything, checked the fan, and temperature thermostat.

Check your freezer temperature. It should be between 0 and 5 degrees F.
The ice maker will not work unless the freezer is cold enough.

See the attachment for the tech sheet.

First you have to determine if the compressor is working.
You can usually hear it but also should be able to feel it vibrating.

Also check that the evaporator/freezer fan and the condenser/compressor fans run.

Does the compressor cycle on/off or is it on all the time except when the unit goes through a defrost cycle?

If on all the time remove the cover in the freezer and check the evaporator coils.
