Hello all. I purchased a maytag mvwc415ew yesterday and ran it through a test wash last night. It makes a pretty loud and very annoying noise when agitating. You can hear it on this youtube video:

I checked the nut that holds the plastic wheel for the belt and it is tight. Any thoughts? Or is that just how they are supposed to sound? I sure hope that I don't have to put up with that noise every time we wash clothes.

There should be a one year warranty on new machines. Contact customer service or the place where you purchased it from and get a repair tech out to check it out.
