Hello. I have encountered a problem with my Whirlpool Duet washer. This is how it started. Whenever our family leaves the house for more than a day I turn the water off behind the washer. So we went on vacation, I turned the valves off. We get back I forget to turn the water back on before we use the machine. My wife said it flashed some error codes (she didn't remember what they were) and that's when she called me in there to see. The washer wasn't on long. The door lock light is blinking fast and the machine sounds like it's draining but no water was in it. No lights except the lock light and no buttons will respond. So I unplug it turn the water on and wait a couple minutes and plug it back in. Same as it was before with draining noise/locked door and lock light. I then unplugged it for 20 mins and all the way up to 3 hours and it still picks up where it left off. It does not move through cycles it just stays on what sounds like draining. Anyone know a way to correct this or reset the machine?

Even after letting it sit all night unplugged it still powers back on trying to drain when I plug it in.

I have the same problem that you due to the exact same reason. I'm wondering if by any chance you found a repair?
I know it's a couple years ago but please let me know if you have a chance to thank you.
