Kenmore model 106.56666500. Refrigerator was not cooling, freezer was cooling fine, removed rear panel of freezer, had ice build up, manually defrosted, it is now cooling well but it runs non stop, what do you suggest

Have you let it run for about 24 hours?

if it is just a defrost problem and you manually defrosted it thenit shpoulds run until the unit comes to the set point temperatures.

It should then cycle for a few days until the evaporator coils clog solid again with frost/ice.

Check the freezer temperature. It should be between 0 and 5 degrees F.
The fresh food should be around 38 degrees F.
