Please see attached image (if that worked). My washer was extra loud during spin cycle now leaks water. I am thinking bearing and center seal from my research (I have no experience with washers...) Underneath the agitator was a MESS. The pic shows it after cleaning. I'm basically just disassembling everything I see, but the inner tub will not come out despite the top retainer being removed and the 2 bolts and plate holding pressure against the shaft also removed. I'm at a standstill. Can't get the inner tub out. Is this washer too far gone anyway? It is looking quite nasty and I feel like things may be rust-bonded pretty good. I don't want to pay a pro to come out if I can help it. Thanks for any input. TryTryAgain attached the following image(s):

It looks like a lot of rust, and this is not the best model ever made. I would buy a new basic no frills top loader, and if price is an issue a good basic top loader used can be purchased in our area for around $125-$175.00.
