My refrigerator keeps getting so cold that it freezes my food and drinks even after I've turned the setting down. Any ideas as to what it could be and how to repair this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Sears parts have a part breakdown diagrams and a wiring diagram.

Measure the freezer temperature.
It should be between 0 and 5 degrees F.

If OK then the damper between the freezer and the fresh food sections may not be closing.

If too cold then the control thermostat may be stuck closed.
If it is you will have to replace it.
Note that if it is stuck closed the compressor will run all the time except when the unit goes thru a defrost cycle.
