I inherited a broken Avanti microwave from work (Model MO1450TW). The initial issue was that when I punched in the time I wanted it to cook the light came on inside, but no turntable motor, transformer noise, magnetron noise, or fan operation. I determined that one of the interlock switches was toast and replaced it. In this case, it was the highest one in the stack. Thought I had it licked. Put the new switch in and punched in the coordianates. The light came on and stayed on with no action from the other components. The slo-blo ceramic fuse then went poof. So, where might I start to look next? Dead short somewhere? Naturally, Avanti does not include a wiring diagram nor will they send me one (I called this morning). I just can't seem to find an algorithm to start searching. Thanks

Well, I seem to have answered my own question. Everything is working fine now and I didn't blow another fuse. Seems it was just a shorted interlock switch. It was burned inside when I took it apart. I did find the wiring diagram. Seems they use a sticker and place it on the removable panel which I had removed and placed out of the way. Duh huh. All is well in the world now.
