Movers damaged the dryer door hinge and catch. I ordered parts and got the hinge on without a problem.

After watching the video I attempted to remove the damaged catch. Looked so simple in the video. But it will not budge.

Do I have to take the door apart?

Yes if it will not come out as shown in the video.

Have you tried both top and bottom to release it?
