My wife used the self cleaning cycle on her KitchenAid Superba Selectra 30 and it seems to have killed it. I am now charged with fixing it if I want any more home-cooked meals. Please help!
First thing was to check the breaker, which was not tripped, but I reset it any way. The control panel had no reaction when I pressed anything. So I removed the top panel and found some sort of switch (happy to post pictures if that is helpful) that was open. I reset that and now the control panel will beep if pressed, but still no lights. If I try to turn on the oven, I get a periodic one second beep about every five seconds.
Any ideas what could be the problem?

Here are your parts Parts for KEBS207BWH - AppliancePartsPros.comYou seem to be missing the last digit so will have to choose the correct model from the Matching Model Numbers section. See the attachment for the tech sheet. Sounds like when it tripped the upper oven thermodisk, it also blew the control board. |

I hadn't noticed it before, but with the lights off tonight, I saw the control was very dimmly showing an error code -F2-. Considering the cleaning cycle, and looking at these error codes: KitchenAid Fault Codes - AppliancePartsPros.comWhat would be the most likely culprit? Bad relay? Bad door lock sensor?

The tech sheet shows F2 as a bad touch pad which is no longer available.
The list you show in a generalization and I would use the tech sheet as being correct for this unit.
Try removing power from the unit for a few hours to see what happens. This is a long shot but worth a try. |

So, I finally found a replacement control module for this oven. Put in the new module and the clock does not light up. There is an audible beep when you touch the keys, but nothing ever happens. If you do the sequence to start the oven (even with the LCD dimmed), there is a long audible beep after hitting start.
Is there some other thermal fuse or fusable link that I might be missing?
