Want to clean under the burner areas on my range, but don't know how to open up the top area, under the stove top. How do I get it open?
Thank you for any comments.

Here are your parts
Parts for Whirlpool GY395LXGQ4 Range - AppliancePartsPros.com

I do not think it opens up.
Usually if they do there are a couple support rods to hold it up and I do not see them in the parts.

So unplug or swich the breaker.
Remove the elements and drip pans.
Then reach in and clean as best you can.
Be careful not to cut yourself on the stove top rims.
Be sure to install the elements back to their original locations.
One ot the small ones is probably a simmer element so thay are different.
