My washer fills properly, agitates properly than when it goes into spin mode it starts very slowly than after about 45 seconds of trying to spin it quits and shuts down. I noticed a burning type smell. Is it the motor? or is it the motor not being able to turn the transmission?

I took the motor and transmission out and connected it up and the transmission spun fine with no issues. Any help would be appreciated.

Attached is a video with sound of the problem.

The usual diagnosis for a problem like this is clutch lining. Replace it and see if that doesn't fix your problem.

The only question is the burning smell, it could mean that the motor is failing under the load of a full tub of wet garments.
