The Auto dry setting not shutting off. It advances but will not shut down at end of selected cycle. The timed dry works fine and does shut down when cycle is done

Here we go again. Faulty timer. The type of timer used in these low end dryers is a piece of junk and they fail all the time! Can't tell you how many times I've seen these fail. At least, if you buy from APP, you get a one year warranty.
