My dryers flame won't stay on. I tested the thermostat, igniter, heating element and sensor assemble. All good continuity. I had a repairman come out , he was useless. I had to let him use my tools and help him assemble the machine back. He was at a lost and suggested to replace the thermostat with the reset button so I did. It didn't work still, so I replaced the gas valve assembly and it still won't stay on. The flame with come on for about 6-7 seconds then turn off. Then repeat again, only staying on for 3-4 seconds. Help..

The problem could be the solenoid. I had the same problem with the flame not staying lit. You can repace this part yourself. I did.
