I had to replace the evaporator fan motor on my Kitchen Aid refrigerator. I ordered replacement fan motor (part #4389144), I installed motor, it fit perfectly, but new fan motor is sluggish to start, I have to bump fan to get it to start rotating. What is the likelihood that the replacement motor is defective?

Check the voltage acoss the fan it should be 120 volts or the same as the voltage at the wall receptacle.
If the voltage is OK then odds are high that your replacement fan is defective. |
