Dryer runs for about 3 to 5 minutes, run noise seems to get loader and then stops. Some times it just make sharp noise and then nothing.

This unit is a stackable unit and I cannot see how to get to the motor to replace it, if it is truely the motor that is going.

Is it even possible to replace the motor on this type of unit?

Model LT5000XUND
s/n MX1801009
Stock # LT5000V

Thanks in advance,
Ed

Hi Ed,

The model number you posted is incorrect.

Verify and repost it, please.

I was able to oder a new motor and replacement belt, which actually did the trick. Thanks for the reply though.

Hi Ed,

I'm glad you were able to fix it.
