One of the burner knobs on my tappan stove is falling off, the other 3 are attached but this one is very loose... how do I re-attach the knob, is it with some sort of glue or something else? Please help.

Try using a flat picture hanger from the hardware store. Take the knob with you to size the hanger. User tin snips to cut the metal to size. Mine only need to be cut roughly square and when I inserted it into the hole, it added enough flat surface for the knob to grab and stay attached. Hope this helps. Saved me $45-$67 for a new knob. Good luck.
