Ge Monogram built in. Freezer and Refrigerator started to warm, now at 65 each. I have the unit with an inverter mounted to the condenser. Before I called GE Service I did a bit of troubleshooting. The condenser looks to run although very quietly, not sure if this is normal. Here are the details:

Condenser windings ( all three ) measure about 7 ohms between each of the windings.
I have about 5vdc on the signal line to the inverter
I have 115vdc also going to the inverter
I have no frost on the condenser
I assumed I had a sealed system issue ( still under the 12 year warranty ) so called GE Service. They said it was the inverter but they did not have one. So... I order one and install. Not the inverter.

Before I go through the big hassle of dealing with these guys again, can anyone think of any thing else or any reason the suspect the main board considering the 5vdc is present at the inverter?

thanks,

Follow-up

The issue as been identified as a leak in the sealed system. Specifically, the evaporator coil developed rust by sitting in the drain pain ( probably mixed with dust and dirt for 8 years ) and a small hole developed. Since it was the high pressure side, the refrigerant escaped fairly rapidly. Parts covered under 12 year warranty.
