Whirlpool ultimate care ii makes a strange noise only on spin cycle. It does not spin effectively. All other cycles appear fine except for spin. Someone posted a video on youtube of the exact noise my washer makes. http://youtu.be/pkjbkfHFgpE

I've replaced the clutch assembly and coupler in the last 3 years.

Thanks Eric, I had more or less figured this too. I also found that there was also quite a bit of oil under washer pointing more towards transmission too. Thanks for confirming.
