Hello! I searches the forums, tried the things I found, but have now come to a point where I'm stuck and I can't find the answer already answered.
Had the dim light on the clock. Tried the capacitor swap. Didn't work. Ordered the replacement kit. Display is bright. Everything about the touch sensor works fine. Bottom oven works fine.
The problem is the top oven. I enter the type of cooking and then the temperature, and about 5-10 seconds later, the oven beeps and flashes F5 until I turn the top oven off. Clock never goes away. If the bottom oven is already on, when the top oven shuts off, the bottom will also shut off.
So from what I can gather, it might be the top oven temperature sensor? How can I check that or troubleshoot that? I'm 99.9% sure I got the whole control board installed correctly. Perhaps when I was pulling and wiggling things, a connector deeper in the oven was loosened?
My in-laws are out of town and I was trying to surprise them with a working oven when they returned home.
Thanks!
Matt

The top oven will not bake, broil, convection, or heat up in any way. I can enter the temperature, I hear everything click and turn on, but then immediately click and turn off. I went back to the old control board with the new display board, so the F5 error stopped, but the top oven still turns off after entering the desired temp and still overrides the bottom oven and turns the bottom one off too.
