When I hit the start button the dryer starts (drum spins) for about 1 second, then the dryer stops and the display turns off then the display turns on again. No error code! This happens in all modes except when I choose no heat. If I choose no heat then the drum spins and everything seems normal. If I go back and choose any level of heat (High,Medium, Low) then again it will only run for 1 second and shut off. Any Ideas?

Sounds like a faulty connection possibly at the power cord terminal block or in the wall receptacle. Could also be a problem with the power cord. When you select a heat cycle, the dryer is trying to pull over 20 amps of current and if there is a faulty connection, this can cause a very large voltage drop causing the dryer to shut off. Only a few amps of current are required for air only cycle.

What steps should I take to diagnose and troubleshoot this. I have a multimeter.

Too much to try and explain over this forum. I would suggest just turning the panel breaker for the dryer off and check for loose connections at the receptacle and the power cord terminal block in the dryer. If you don't find anything obvious, call an experienced tech.
