I am getting an error code FE on my dryer which stands for Improper / irregular power source. Nothing has changed in my setup it is still plugged into the same outlet the last 4 years, and the washer is connected to the same outlet and works fine. Any ides what may be wrong or have to be replaced?

Sublime, thanks for the response. So you think maybe the receptacle is bad or the polarity is reversed even though it has been hooked up for 4 years? The washer is also hooked up to the same outlet and I even tried switching them and the dryer still doesn't work but the washer does. I will check to see if that is it, thanks.

I would replace the wall receptacle before buying any dryer parts
