Hi - I recently moved into a new place that has a frigidaire gallery pro range FEF389WFCE (actually, it's a canadian model, so CFEF389WFCE).
The cooktop works, but the previous owner dropped something on it and half of the glass is cracked. I've been trying to find the part (316098122) but as of Sep 2009, it has been discontinued (just my luck!)
Does anyone know of a place that may possibly have one in stock, or of a compatible replacement part? The cooktop still works, but it's a bit of an eyesore, and the edge is sharp to touch, so i'd like to replace it.

Hi Glen,
I'm having the same problem (though mine is a US black top oven FEF389WJCC). Did you ever find a source for a new top?

sorry man - i've had no luck. I've tried used appliance stores, ********, every online dealer. I called frigidaire which didn't help either. I'm surprised that there isn't a compatible part available.
Have you had any success since your post?

Hi Glen,
No, I haven't. I've moved on to looking on Craigslist to see if someone is getting rid of the same stove (no luck yet though). I'll post back if I find a resource for the replacement part. If you can do the same, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
