Trying to replace parts to restore freezer function, starting with the timer which I just received from you. Its apparently at the base, and I'm asking for a walk-through on how to replace it. help!?

As far as I know there is no official walk through.
So unplug the unit. Remove the kick plate then remove the timer (usually two screws and replace it).
Depending how they have mounted it sometimes if it is mounted to a separate bracket it is easier to remove the bracket and then the timer from the bracket.
Be sure to note where the wires go. |
