Hi All,

Have an 11 year old Maytag Preforma PAV3240AWW washer.
Wife complained it wasn't spinning clothes dry enough.
I have tried all what I can think of after reading dozens of various internet posts.

I changed the trust bearing.
When I changed it I wasn't able to get the indicator arrow on the cam past the minimum line even with the thin washer only under the retainer clip.
I tried prying the shaft down but it won't budge. Ran it anyway. Clothes still too wet.
I then shaved down the top of the plastic cam insert piece a bit, reinstalled the thin washer and was able to get the arrow to index between the minimum and maximum lines. Still, clothes too wet.

I have also changed the belt.
Cleaned around the motor and silicone greased the pivot and slide points, motor pivots and slides easy. Re-bent the motor tension spring to put a little more tension on the motor.

Checked the water level switch tube, it looks clear.

Pump hoses look clear and tub pumps out good in under 1 minute.

Pulled top cover off drum, can't see anything stuck in there.

Lid switch works and when watching it spin with the switch bypassed it looks like it's spinning fast, but obviously not fast enough to get the clothes dry enough.

When cleaning the inside of the cabinet I noticed some white debris under the tub area - snubber ring wear?

This I haven't changed yet.

Could the snubber ring affect the spin out?
If not that, anyone have any other ideas or thing to check?
