Hello everybody!

My name is max and i'm a little bit lost inside my dishwasher.

When i press the start button, it fills up well, then a few seconds later, it is empty so it stops its job.

If i let it fill then open the door, i can see the water level lowering slowly.

I know that the water escape through the drain hose but i'm wondering why.
I tried to clean my dishwasher, the check valve near the food grinder and remove any debrit with no success.

The drain valve seems to be integrated to the pump, does it mean i need a new assembly?

Any help is verrryyyy appreciated :-)

Thanks

Max

I do not know what part you are calling the drain valve?
If you are referring to the check valve (item 5 in section 06) this is to prevent water from the drain hose leaking back into the unit.

Has this unit ever worked OK with the current plumbing hook up?
The reason I ask is this type of problem is often an incorrect drain hook up.

If it has worked OK.
Remove the front kick plate.
Remove power from the unit.
Disconnect one wire from the drain pump (item 15 in section 06).
Make sure it cannot short to anything else. You may have to tape it.
Re-apply power and run a cycle.
If it runs OK then you know that the drain motor is being activated when it should not so it is probably a control board problem.

Hello,

Yes my dishwasher was working correctly since 3 years ( or looked like)

While waiting for an answer here, I rode a few forums and I find out that I needed a "double loop" with my drain
hose but one loop must be as high as the countertop.

I tried that and it worked.

Thanks :)
