My whirlpool washer will stop after wash cycle and will not drain or spin. It does this on any wash cycle you put on. The timer stops and makes no noise after wash cycle completes. I have tested the lid switch by lifting lid slowing and still hear clicking so I am not sure it is that? Any suggestions?

Just because you hear a clicking doesn't mean the lid switch is good. Try by- passing it and see if that work, in which case you will need to replace the lid switch.
