My ice maker has died and needs to be replaced. Is this something I can do? I have average do it yourself skills and no plumbing abilities. I am leaning toward just buying the part and having a service technician do it. Is this a relatively easy job to do??

Since your refrigerator was made GE had redesigned the ice maker a few times. Do not be afraid because it looks very different. The new ice maker kit comes with the installation instructions and it is not too difficult to replace it yourself. - The ice maker kit Part number: AP4345120
