Good Morning:
I recently purchased knob and clip assembly from you for my dryer as we had been having to change the setting by turning the shaft with pliers. Somehow, in the time between ordering and receiving the part, the whole assembly that contains the shaft came out of place (I am assuming) as the shaft is now flush with the hole from which it should be extending. Can you advise me what to do?
Thanks so much!

Note that I do not work for AppliancePartsPros, I just volunteer here.
If you click on a parts description or picture often a new page will open with info about that part.
If you mean that the timer came loose then unplug the unit and remove the upper rear cover and reattach the timer.
If you mean that the shaft dropped into the timer then you will probably have to buy a new timer.
There may have been a cir clip holding the shaft that has fallen off. I am not sure about this. |
