Hello- I have a brand new LG DLG1102W gas dryer with an issue that has stumped an LG technician. The dryer will not always ignite. LG sent a tech out to look at the dryer and unfortunately it worked fine when he was here. He replaced the main PCB per the work order and also tested everything could (thermister, confirmed igniter and gas valve were fine, venting was proper, etc, etc..). It worked fine when the tech left but sure enough later that day we could not get the dryer to fire up. You hear the igniter click but no flame ignition.

Here's where it gets it really strange. I noticed that if I have another gas appliance operating (stove or pool heater) the dryer would some times work! So I called the gas company out to check natural gas pressure coming off the meter into the house and it checked out fine. He looked at the plumbing from the meter to the dryer and said it looked good.

So has anyone ever seen this before? If there is a correlation between having another gas appliance in use and the dryer working it's like there is too much pressure for the dryer. But I would think the dryer's gas valve would properly regulate that...

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. It's a nice dryer when it has some hot air!
