Hi. Our buttons are slowly no longer responding to touch. It started with the clock/timer cook and hold under the clock and has progressed to the 3, 6, 9 and 0. The control panel is no longer available but after reading the forums, it looks like it could be just cleaning the ribbon off. The clock display itself is working fine. The oven was purchased in 06. I tried following the links to the service matters sites for Maytag but end up in no-where zone. Can you help me out. I don't want to blow myself up with this or short it out by not cleaning it properly. Also, if I find cracks in the ribbon, any ideas on where to get a replacement part? The oven is electric btw.
