My dishwasher seems to run ok for a while in the beginning but then, at some point, it starts to sound as though it is shorting out. kind of like a loose extension cord on something that isn't plugged in completely. It eventually brings up "er", an error. if I try to run it on a rinse cycle, all I get is an "er". Am I looking at a control board here? Please help. I would call someone to look at it, but my work schedule does not allow me to be home when anyone is able to schedule.
Thanks

A model number may help others help you.
Find your model number - AppliancePartsPros.com

Can you narrow down where the noise is coming from that may help you find the problem.

If in the control area, remove power from the unit and the door panel so you can inspect the control board and the connections.
