We've replaced both the front right and front left burners (with dual heat zones) as they had stopped working. Now the pilot light comes on without turning anything on. Also the front left "hot" indicator comes on when you turn on the rear left burner. Also, sadly, no heat or anything happens when you turn the front elements on. (Rear burners still heat up). Some help, please!

Hi Julie,
When you had your original issues did both of the front burners quit working at the same time?

Did you do a continuity check with a meter of the old elements?
If your getting voltage to the elements, but they aren't heating they're likely either wired wrong or have loose connections.

If we are sure they've been wired back up correctly, I suspect the infinite switches (I.e. Knob switches) may be at fault. To check this, you can either check continuity with the power off of the switch or you can check for 240v to the elements with the switch turned on. However, this is not for the novice as 240v is no joke.

Let me know if you have questions.
