Dishwasher showed no power panel lights out. Found bad or blown thermal fuse TCO shown on the strip circuit diagrams part # g4am1100 awf1. Jumped it out using an 15-amp in-line fuse with quick connects on the leads. was able to get the dishwasher to drain via the Cancel button but the start button will not allow the unit to run in the normal wash mode. Checked all interlocking circuits latch switches etc. but it will not run. I even tried just using a jumper wire across the fuse connection same problem it will not run. Question: is the "thermal fuse" more than just a regular fuse and the main board senses this, thus a regular fuse or jumper will not allow it to run? Thx jelarson130

Here are your parts Parts for Kenmore Dishwasher 66513592K600 - AppliancePartsPros.comSee the attachment for the tech sheet. Question: is the "thermal fuse" more than just a regular fuse and the main board senses this, thus a regular fuse or jumper will not allow it to run? No it is just a fuse that will blow when it gets too hot. It will also blow due to current overload. That it will drain but not start tells you that the board is getting power. May also be the control panel (keypad) so I would check it with a meter first. |
