Dishwasher is 6 years old. Stopped on THANKSGIVING DAY (!) mid cycle. Water still in tub. Acting like it has no power. Husband checked circuit breaker, which was fine. Pulled machine out, and can see no apparent reason for it to have stopped. No lights, no response when buttons are pushed, NOTHING. We loved this dishwasher, and would like it fixed. Repair guy wants $100 to come look, thinks repair could cost up to $350. Any ideas of things we could look at to fix ourselves?

Did he just look at the circuit breaker or did he turn it off and then back on.
Sometimes you can loose power through a breaker without actually tripping it.

The most common cause of this problem is a blown fuse (item5 in section 02).
Remove it and check it with a meter, should be 0 ohms.
If blown be sure to use the new wiring harness that comes with it.
