I am able to get water into the tray. However, the ice will not eject into the bin. If I take a hairdryer to it, the arm moves freely. Could this be a problem with the thermostat or heater in the ice maker?

Jad....the Bi-metal Thermostat May Be Open.when It Get,s Cold In The Freezer And The Water Turns To Ice,the Bi-metal Will Close And The Heater Will Come On And Warm The Mould Causing The Ice To Brake Away From The Housing Then The Ejector Blades Push The Ice Out Of The Tray Into The Bin.[try Replacing The Bi-metal Thermostat.]
