I've had this Admiral dryer for over five years and recently I've been experiencing that it doesn't really heat up only if you keep running it for over two hours does it eventually get hot. What could be the cause of the problem, is it fixable without purchasing a new dryer that I can't afford right now?

I found the model number AED4475TQ1 for my admiral dryer and I removed the two parts Thermal fuse G4AP0500 TF 091C AWL3 3392519 and thermal disc P/N #3387134/661512 to replace I have the parts. where would be the best place for me to push them directly (sears, home depot, ace hardware)?

Here are your parts
Parts for Maytag AED4475TQ1 Dryer - AppliancePartsPros.com

See the attachment for the tech sheet.

The thermal fuse (item 23 in section 03) will not be the problem as it kills power to the motor.

The cycling thermostat (item 24 in section 03) is a possibility as it regulates the heater temperature.

I doubt that a hardware place will sell the parts.
Sears parts should or a appliance parts supplier should.

Why did you select these parts to replace?
Did you check them with a meter?

Your problem is a strange one as the unit does heat up but takes a long time.
Does it start heating as soon as you turn it on but the heat is low and then over time finally gets hot?

thanks I checked these two parts based on watching some videos yesterday and it seemed like the best ideal place to start since the parts are inexpensive. I ordered them here.
thanks for being there for me. I'll let you know how it turns out once I install the new thermal fuse and cycling thermal stat.
