See the attachment for the tech sheet.

Float switch assy next?
I doubt this. All the float switch does is kill power to the fill valve if there is an overflow. As far as I know there is no feedback from it to the control board.

" the door was ajar" would cause a problem.

thanks for that. I thought perhaps if the float switch was clogged with detergent, it wouldn't start?
door popped when the cycle didn't go beyond 30 secs.
then tonite I tired again making no changes at all to the load I tried to start yesterday.
Ran fine. argh

As far as I know this door does not lock, it is just a mechanical latch so I think your problem is in this area.

K, thanks. I'll look into that if it becomes habit.

New latch plate is in and does definitely feeling like a better close than previously.
Ran the first successful load in a few weeks.
I previous changed the pulley assy a few weeks back.
Hopefully I'm done for a while.

Ran 30mins then popped.
Tested thermal fuse and ribbon for continuity. Both good.

But now door won't stay latched at all.
Latch assy switch is good.
So perhaps the mechanical of the latch assy is worn? Looks like plastic.
Or could it be the assy is just enough out of position?

Could be either of the above.
May even have something to do with the metal latch plate
