 Some things are just not meant to be! Just received a call from the wife...the darn dryer got so hot and smoky it set off the smoke detector a few feet down the hall from the laundry room! She had to use a towel on the dryer door handle it was so hot! All temperature sensing & fusible devices were replaced a week ago, vent hose inspected, and it has been working without incident probably 10 loads dried since the repair. This prompts the question WHAT ELSE COULD BE WRONG? Could the fan blade be loose and stop spinning on occasion? Is it advisable to call in a professional at this point since the piece of crap is only 2-1/2 years old? Give up and buy a new machine? Not having a good day right now!
