Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 10/25/2014(UTC) Posts: 1		I have Maytag gas dryer model #DG 482 serial # 828747RE and I have a problem with leaking internal shut off gas valve part #AP4290403. The valve is leaking gas at the knob side. This shut-off valve is unavailable anymore. The thread connections at both sides are ok. Can I take shut off valve apart and fix the leak by replacing either washer or fix it some other way? Thank You

If there is no joy take it to a appliance parts seller. If you get a experienced counter person then they may be abl to find a similar unit. Places that sell gas furnace parts may also have a valve that would do the job.
