Have a Frigidaire range. Approximately a week ago, the oven stays in preheat and never comes ready. Replaced one of the elements, and it seemed to worked after installation, but next day, the same, ie. the oven stays in preheat. I am thinking it is the control board, but why did the oven appear to work after I changed one of the elements. I am worried that if I get the control board, it may be something else that is wrong. When I called a parts company, they said the Frigidaire oven is known for the control board becoming defective. Please let me know as quickly as possible. Thank you in advance.
