Hopefully keeping this short. Frig/Freezer stopped cooling. What I have done/checked: Confirmed it is not iced up by pulling the inside panels. Confirmed the inside fans turn on/off when doors are closed/open The compressor gets warm to the touch but not hot. The compressor fan is running without problems. Cleaned all the compressor coils. Not putting out any codes when I use the front buttons. It comes on and runs without noise or what seems like any problems. Just not putting out cold air. I was planning on replacing the Main board ( Samsung DA41-00554B Pba MAIN;NW2-Pjt,assy - AppliancePartsPros.com) but wanted to check here first to see if I should try anything else first. Thanks in advance.

Since the compressor is running I do not think that the board is the problem. If the compressor runs then there should be cooling/frost on the evaporator coils. If not then it is a sealed system problem. This will be an expensive repair as you need a pro. Also there is no guarantee that they will be able to fix it. Below is a manual which may help you confirm the problem. You will have to join the site and be logged in to be able to download it. http://appliancejunk.com...&id=395;t=1413563138 |
