Last week I went to put a load in my washer and when I pushed start nothing happened. Door would not lock and error code of F29 was displayed. Looked it up to find that the code was door lock issues. After doing some checking determined that the lock was bad so I purchased a new one and the door locked one time smelled burning wire and then a pop and now I have the same issue. Took the new lock back off and all the copper coils on the left side of the actuator are burnt just like the 1st lock. I did some more checking and found that the CCU was sending out 120v to the lock. Is this correct? It seems to me that is to many volts. Please advise what to do next.

Sounds like the wiring to/from the lock assembly is being grounded in some place and causing too high an amperage to flow and that is burning out your door lock assembly.
