I have a Frigidaire dryer, LEQ1442ES1, that stops during operation. When it stops the drying, cool down, press saver, and clean lint filter leds on the right are all flashing. The clothes are also cool to touch. I ran the error code procedure from Frigidaire and I received an E56 error code. This code is not on the list I downloaded from Frigidaire. I do not have an led display so I had to count how many times the lights were flashing. I also ran the function sequence test, and from what I saw the control thermistor temp was 62 degrees. Is that too low? Any help is appreciated.
Jim
I hope this isn't a repost, but I posted earlier and it has not shown up in the forum.

I think it may be the heater element. I checked the wiring diagram and disconnected the end on the thermometer and unplugged connector with the yellow wire at the motor. I measured across these wires and read on open. Just to be positive I attached some alligator leads on the element connectors and had the same reading.

I removed the drum, and the heating element is broken.
