During wash cycle, it only turns in one direction and screeches while turning. When in the wash cycle with no clothing loaded, it just makes a bit of a rumbling noise, but still only goes in one direction. Transmission?

The top half of the agitator is supposed to only go in the clockwise direction. Eric
