Hello,

I just recently had the panel go out on my GE range, JGSP48CH4CC. The burners and light in the oven still worked so I figured it was the Oven Control after reading some other info online. I ordered Oven Control (ERC3B) Part Number WB27T11251 and also Keypanel WB27T11077.

Connected everything without issue and the panel is powered on. However, when I set the oven to Bake or Broil and hit Start, the oven doesn't kick on like it normally does. I have verified all of the connections are good.

Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance.

I guess I jumped the gun a bit. After actually applying a little patience, the oven and broiler are turning on and heating. What I am not hearing is the oven fan turn on like it used too. Previously when I set the temp on the oven and started it, the fan would start immediately too. The fan was working fine up until the Oven Control went out.

What could the issue be? Also, what danger if any does it pose to run the oven without the fan running?

Thanks again.
